Cookie policy

Essential browser storage, optional website analytics, and how to change your choices.

Effective September 7, 2026 · Early access
Plain-language beta document

This page describes Taploop's current early-access service. A signed customer agreement or data-processing agreement controls if it says something different.

Current public website

The current public marketing pages do not intentionally set advertising cookies. They may use basic browser behavior required to render navigation and preserve accessibility preferences, but they do not currently include a behavioral advertising tracker.

Authenticated product

Taploop uses an essential secure session cookie to keep an authenticated user signed in and route them to the correct workspace. Product surfaces may also use browser storage for interface state, local previews, or demo-only experiences. Demo or local state is not authoritative account, approval, payment, or outcome evidence.

Essential technologies

  • Authentication and session continuity
  • Security, abuse prevention, and request integrity
  • Navigation, interface state, and accessibility behavior
  • Short-lived test or demo configuration where clearly labeled

Third-party links and connections

When you leave Taploop or connect a provider, that service may set its own cookies according to its policy. Taploop does not control cookies placed directly by a third-party website.

Optional Google Analytics

When enabled, Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Until then, Taploop does not request Google's analytics script or send analytics events to Google. You can decline and continue using the website. After acceptance, Google may set analytics cookies to measure visits and selected actions; Taploop configures a 180-day cookie lifetime and disables advertising consent, Google signals, and advertising personalization.

Taploop sends page paths and a limited set of action labels. Form contents, names, emails, inquiry references, and URL queries are excluded. Search-engine referrals are limited to their website address and path, without the search query. Cloudflare provides separate basic website performance measurements.

Your choices

The essential preference named taploop.analytics-consent.v1 remembers your decision in browser storage for up to 180 days. When analytics is configured, use the Cookie settings button to accept or decline again. Declining stops further Google Analytics events and removes analytics cookies accessible to this website. Previously collected data is not erased by changing this setting.

You can also use browser controls to delete or block storage. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent login and authenticated product features from working. Questions can be sent to hello@taploop.agency.
