TAPLOOP TECHNOLOGIES INC. operates this website. This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by Taploop; our Privacy policy covers the wider handling of personal information. Company and Privacy contact details appear alongside this page.
2. Essential website and account functions
Taploop uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep an authenticated user signed in. Provider authorization flows may use short-lived cookies to protect their return flow. Security and interface features can also use browser storage. Local preview or demonstration state is not authoritative payment, approval or business-outcome evidence.
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and provides basic website performance measurement. Requests to this infrastructure involve technical browser and network information. Essential account and security processing is separate from optional website analytics.
3. Optional website analytics
Google's analytics library is blocked until you choose Accept analytics on public marketing pages. You may decline and continue using the site. After consent, Google Analytics can set cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_ cookie to distinguish browsers and measure visits and selected actions.
Taploop configures the analytics-cookie lifetime to 180 days. Google signals, advertising personalization and Enhanced Measurement are disabled. The public-site setup does not intentionally load an advertising tracker. Our Google event payloads omit contact details, form contents, inquiry references and URL query strings. Recognized search referrals are reduced to their origin and path; other referrer details are omitted. PostHog also loads only after analytics consent on website, signup, sign-in and app pages. It uses an anonymous browser cookie with a configured lifetime of 180 days and session storage to measure visits and selected actions. It receives page paths, referring domains, browser/device information and campaign labels, plus selected signup, setup, feature and billing-access actions, engagement, scroll depth and technical request timing/status. Campaign attribution stays in session storage for up to 30 minutes of inactivity. Form contents, customer workspace data and other URL queries are excluded. Session replay and automatic interaction capture are disabled. This internal analytics project is separate from customer-connected PostHog accounts.
4. Remembering and changing your choice
The browser-storage preference taploop.analytics-consent.v2 remembers your consent decision for up to 180 days. A previous Google-only acceptance requires a new choice for PostHog; a previous decline remains respected. Use Cookie settings on the website to reopen the choice. Declining or withdrawing stops further Google Analytics and PostHog events and removes analytics cookies that this site can access. Earlier events are not replayed if you later consent, and withdrawing does not delete information already received by either provider.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Removing the saved preference may cause the choice to appear again. Blocking essential session storage can prevent sign-in or connected-account features from working. Choices are browser/device specific.
5. Other services and questions
A third-party site you visit or connect may use its own cookies and controls. Review that provider's policy; Taploop's choice does not control storage placed on another website.
