TAPLOOP TUTORIAL / 01

Find your next campaign message.

Work through a meal-kit example: give your agent a clear question, gather public evidence through Taploop, and turn it into messages and an experiment plan.

THE IDEA BEHIND AGI MARKETING

You set the goal.
Your agent connects the work.

Businesses set the goals, and AI agents coordinate the work. In these tutorials, that means giving an agent a clear question, using Taploop to access the relevant tools, and turning the evidence into a decision your team can review.

Customize the workflow around your goals, tools, and review process. Your team checks the findings and approves publishing, outreach, and spending.

A LITTLE SETUP, A CLEARER RESULT

Before you start

First time here? Set up Taploop and your agent
  1. Create your workspace. Sign up, complete the access steps shown, then add your business context in Workspace settings.
  2. Choose your sources. Open Integrations and prepare the research tools or accounts listed below. Set the account permissions and usage budget for your work.
  3. Give your AI app access. In AI setup, choose Set up access to my integrations. In Agent access, issue an access token for the required accounts and capabilities, with result sharing enabled. Keep the default read scopes and add research.execute under Allowed Taploop scopes so the public research capabilities can appear. Add the displayed server address and token in your AI app’s secure connection settings. Keep the token out of chat prompts.
  4. Check the connection. Ask your agent to confirm access to the accounts and tools selected for your workflow. The separate built-in service setup uses a different token; use the integration access setup for these guides. You can review work in Runs and evidence.
  • A Taploop workspace, a compatible AI agent, and public research that is available in that workspace.
  • Your actual product description, delivery market, landing page, and three questions you need answered.
  • A workspace owner who can grant research access and set an appropriate research budget.

FOLLOW ALONG WITH YOUR OWN BUSINESS

From question to useful work.

Work through the steps in order. Replace the bracketed details in each prompt, and review the response before moving on.

Define one decision your team can make

Start with the decision at the end of the work: which customer problem should lead the landing page? Describe the product in ordinary language, name the market, and state what the product can actually deliver. A delivery area matters more here than an invented profile such as a particular age, income, or household type.

For North Table, compare three possible needs: making weeknight preparation easier, finding more meals to choose from, and understanding what the box costs. Ask the agent to explore these possibilities without assuming any one is the winner. Name a marketing lead as the person who will decide which message proceeds to testing.

ASK YOUR AGENTEdit the details in brackets

We are [company], offering [product] in [market]. Our website is [URL]. Use Taploop to help us choose the customer problem our first campaign should address. Compare convenience, meal variety, and value. Start by restating the decision, the product facts we supplied, and the questions that public research can and cannot answer. Do not invent customer demographics or demand estimates.

Give the agent access to public research

In Integrations, open Provided by Taploop and find Public web research. Confirm that Web search and Read public pages are available. If the page says Setup required, your workspace needs that setup before the agent can use the tools. An available connection should be selected before you continue.

Open AI setup and choose Set up access to my integrations. In Agent access, include research.execute in Allowed Taploop scopes and select the research capabilities you need. Follow that panel's server address and secure token instructions. Ask the agent to confirm those research capabilities and source readiness first. Your workspace owner can use Budget controls to set a research limit; paid lookups should stay inside the agreed scope.

Build a small evidence table before writing messages

Ask for a focused first pass across relevant provider pages, product FAQs, and other accessible sources. Each finding should include the page, the observation, and the question it helps answer. Several pages from one company still represent one company's perspective. A supplier's own positioning is useful evidence of its offer, but does not establish what customers prefer.

For example, HelloFresh describes pre-measured ingredients, recipe selection, and the ability to skip deliveries on its US How it works page. Those are documented product claims. Treat the table below as a demonstration of how to record them, not as proof that North Table's future customers share particular needs. [1]

ASK YOUR AGENTEdit the details in brackets

Use the public research available through Taploop to build a compact evidence table for [market]. For each finding give the source URL, access date, observed claim, possible implication, and unanswered question. Label company marketing statements separately from customer comments or independent evidence. Read the source page before citing it. If a source is unavailable, record the gap instead of reconstructing it.

Turn observations into message hypotheses

A hypothesis is a statement your team intends to test. Here, a reasonable first hypothesis is that reducing the work of planning dinner may be more useful to communicate than simply offering another subscription box. That is an interpretation of the example evidence, not a measured preference or a finding about the whole market.

Ask for one message per need, plus the product facts needed to support it. Example options are 'Less planning. More cooking.', 'A new dinner idea for your week.', and 'See what is in your weekly box.' The value option should explain the actual offer; claims about savings, lower prices, or nutrition need supporting evidence.

Choose one small experiment to propose

Bring the audience brief and message options to a short team review. For the fictional company, propose testing the planning message against the current headline while keeping the offer and main action consistent. Define the action that would count as useful progress, such as a visitor requesting delivery availability, rather than treating every page view as purchase intent.

The agent's deliverable is an experiment plan: the hypothesis, copy, audience context, measurement requirement, owner, and decision rule. Your team still needs to approve the claim, implement the page, and verify tracking. Ask the agent to identify what would make the experiment inconclusive, including too few relevant visits or inconsistent tracking.

ASK YOUR AGENTEdit the details in brackets

From the evidence we have reviewed, propose one first message experiment for [company]. Include the hypothesis, control and variant copy, intended audience context, primary action, tracking to verify, reviewer, and reasons the result might be inconclusive. Separate supported product claims from assumptions. Prepare the plan for our review; do not publish, contact people, or start advertising.

Save the reasoning your team will need later

Ask the agent for a short final brief containing the research question, strongest observations, competing explanations, recommended message, and links. Keep the original evidence table beside the recommendation so another teammate can inspect the reasoning. Taploop's Runs and evidence gives you a place to review the activity recorded for the work.

Finish by recording a decision: test the proposed message, gather more evidence, or stop because the product cannot support the claim. Public research can narrow a question and prepare useful work. The next evidence should come from the company's actual customers or a properly measured experiment.

WHAT A USEFUL RESULT LOOKS LIKE

Use this example evidence table to connect source observations with a question to test. The HelloFresh observations come from its US page, checked on September 8, 2026; the proposed messages are for fictional North Table.

THE DECISION

Proposed next step: test a planning message and learn whether that need matters to your visitors. Keep the source observations beside the recommendation so your team can review the reasoning.

THE HUMAN PART OF THE WORKFLOW

Review it before you act.

  • Can a teammate open each source and find the observation being cited?
  • Are the market, product facts, and evidence gaps clearly stated?
  • Does every proposed message describe something the product can deliver?
  • Have assumptions and the experiment plan remained distinct from measured results?

Your next step

Choose one message to review with your team, then prepare a landing-page experiment with a named owner and verified measurement. If the evidence is thin, use the unanswered questions to guide customer interviews before committing to a campaign.

CHECK THE SOURCE, KEEP THE CONTEXT
